Refuse the ordinary.A cinematic concept flagship for a fictional luxury fashion house — art-directed, animated, and engineered end-to-end. A study in how restraint, type and motion make the web feel expensive.
AURA is the flagship we built to set our own bar — to answer one question: what does a luxury fashion house feel like on the web when nothing is left to a template? Every surface — the type system, the duotone palette, the motion language — was designed from a blank page.
The interface gets out of the way so the photography can carry the colour. A stark, near-monochrome system frames the campaign imagery; a high-contrast Fraunces display face is paired with a self-hosted Satoshi for the UI. The result reads as editorial, not e-commerce.
Motion is the product. A cinematic parallax hero with kinetic type, couture curtain-wipe page transitions, a mix-blend custom cursor, a velocity-reactive marquee and a film-grain overlay give the whole site a sense of weight and intention — all reduced-motion and accessibility aware.
Under the hood it's a 100% static build: sixteen statically-generated product pages, a collections grid with URL-synced Women/Men + thematic-edit filtering, and a full light/dark system. Fast, flawless on mobile, and engineered to the same standard it's art-directed to.
